Most Disliked
Some visitors note that the menu is limited, as it alternates weekly between burger and meatloaf offerings. This can lead to disappointment if you're craving a specific dish not available during your visit. Additionally, the service may sometimes take a bit longer, primarily due to the small staff, which could be challenging during peak hours. A few diners have mentioned the need for more seating options, especially on busy days. However, the overall hospitality and food quality often outweigh these concerns, leaving the majority of guests satisfied.

Homemade burgers, the best you'll find anywhere---the buns are homemade, the meat is fresh and has been marinated, and the tomatoes are fresh and ripe, too. Absolutely delicious. Worth a trip. Excellent salads, too. The menu is limited, and they alternate between burger week and meatloaf week. Family run by a grandma and grandpa. Note that the hours are limited, but do make an effort to get here, you'll enjoy it.

If you appreciate delicious homemade food and down to earth people, you will love this place! It’s a great little diner with amazing homemade food and desserts. The price is very reasonable too. And don’t skip the dessert! The pies are all homemade and can’t be beat! Yes, you will wait a little longer for the service, but the hospitality is worth the wait.

We stopped in for lunch. So thankful we did. Wonderful homemade food. Made by a wonderful couple who run the place just the two of them. We had 3 littles with us, they were wonderful with them. She had puzzles and games for them. Food was Great and came in good time. We will go back if we are in Hannibal again.

What a great find this was. Warm inside with plenty of comfortable tables to sit at. The owners took our order because it was just them in the Cafe. I had their cheeseburger and side salad while my friend had the 3 cheese sandwich with the soup de jour (chicken and vegetables.) My burger was amazing and very flavorful. All the breads were homemade too. We both ate for no more than $20 and they were both super nice. One thing was interesting was that when we ordered water we were told that they had a calagan water filter for the water but also the ice maker. She was right the water was fantastic and no after-taste. We will definitely come see them again for Steampunk Days which is next year during last weekend in August.

The menu is short, but the food is made from fresh ingredients by the owner. If you want to enjoy lunch with a friend in a place where you can hear each other speak, try it. I love the chicken sandwiches & the burgers!
